Exploring Education Across Boarders

UAD Welcomes SEA-Teacher Batch 10
On January 31, 2025, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) hosted a welcoming ceremony for SEA-Teacher Batch 10 interns. The event featured cultural performances, program introductions, and remarks from university officials, officially marking the start of their teaching exchange journey.

TK ABA Nitikan Welcomes SEA-Teacher Interns
On February 3, 2025, TK ABA Nitikan held a warm welcome ceremony for Miss Nina from WVSU and Miss Tina from DLSU Bacolod. The event featured cultural performances, a special musical presentation, and heartfelt gestures, making it a memorable start to their internship journey.

SEA-Teacher Interns Gain Cultural and Teaching Experience at TK ABA Nitikan
From February 3 to 21, 2025, SEA-Teacher interns at TK ABA Nitikan gained hands-on experience in early childhood education, exploring Indonesia’s Merdeka Curriculum and cultural practices through interactive lessons and activities.

SEA-Teacher Interns Explore Indonesian Culture on Excursion
On February 13, 2025, SEA-Teacher interns embarked on a cultural excursion, visiting a batik shop where they learned about traditional batik-making and participated in a batik painting workshop. The interns also explored the historic Prambanan Temple, gaining insights into Indonesia’s rich heritage.

SEA-Teachers Join Education Podcast at UAD
On February 13, 2025, Miss Nina from WVSU and Miss Tina from DLSU Bacolod participated in a podcast organized by PGPAUD FKIP UAD. They shared insights on education in the Philippines, including the MATATAG curriculum and their SEA-Teacher experiences, fostering meaningful discussions and cross-cultural learning.

On February 18-19, 2025, Miss Nina from West Visayas State University conducted her demo teaching at TK ABA Nitikan, delivering instruction in Indonesian. The experience challenged her to adapt to a new language while effectively engaging young learners.

UAD Holds Closing Ceremony for SEA-Teacher Batch 10
On February 24, 2025, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan held the closing ceremony for SEA-Teacher Batch 10. Interns wore traditional attire and showcased Philippine culture through dance. The event concluded with recognition and the awarding of certificates.

TK ABA Nitikan Holds Exit Ceremony for SEA-Teacher Intern
On February 24, 2025, TK ABA Nitikan held an exit ceremony for Miss Nina from WVSU, marking the conclusion of her internship. Teachers and students expressed their appreciation for her dedication, adaptability, and engaging teaching style. They commended her effort in using Indonesian during lessons and her ability to connect with the children. The heartfelt farewell highlighted the positive impact she made throughout her stay.
